After hearing the news that his son Lukas has been in a potentially fatal accident, the beloved singer-songwriter Johannes decides to visit the hospital where he finds Lukas in a coma. At the hospital, Johannes must face not only his son’s condition, but also the family that he abandoned decades ago in favor of a life on the road. Words and feelings have long been left unsaid between them, but in the stillness of the hospital room, Johannes is finally forced to face the emotions he has spent nearly a lifetime suppressing. His only refuge is to take his guitar, but will it help him express what he has long avoided, or will he run away once more?
